Indonesia's Latest Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, shallots, garlic bulbs, premium rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase of Rp950 (2.51%) to Rp38,810 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp490 (1.46%) to Rp33,100 per kg.
