Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Prices Tuesday (April 23rd): Beef, Rice, and Chicken Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (23/4/2024) at 15.11 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallot cloves, granulated sugar, red onions, Indian mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, broiler chicken, premium rice, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallot cloves experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,990 (4.37%) to Rp47,510 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,670 (7.29%) to Rp46,640 per kg.
