The daily price of low-quality rice in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province has increased by 0.72% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province is recorded at Rp13,950. This price is unchanged from the previous day and the last week.

The price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets over the past month has also remained unchanged at Rp13,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province over the past three months has increased by 1.45% from the previous record of Rp13,750.

The highest price increase for low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with a 33.86% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a -25.88% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau Islands Province show ten commodities decreased and 19 increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Granulated Sugar, Red Onion, Medium-Sized White Onion, Super I Grade Rice, Premium Granulated Sugar, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium-Sized Red Onion, White Onion, and Local Granulated Sugar.
