Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Friday (31/10): Onion Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 31, 2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged wheat flour, medium rice, curly red chili, dried soybeans (imported), and whole garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, red onion, premium rice, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dried soybeans (imported) saw the highest surge, up Rp1,400 (14.58%) to Rp11,000 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel fish prices fell the sharpest, down Rp994 (2.31%) to Rp42,083 per kg.

6. Red Onion: Rp43,846 per kg (down 1.1%)
7. Mackerel Fish: Rp42,083 per kg (down 2.31%)
8. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp41,538 per kg (up 2.99%)
9. Whole Garlic: Rp41,072 per kg (up 3.49%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,000 per kg (down 1.36%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,067 per kg (up 0.01%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,571 per liter (down 0.78%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,700 per liter (down 0.14%)
14. Consumption Sugar: Rp18,214 per kg (up 0.08%)
