2023 Ballon d'Or Féminin Nominee List: Most Players from Barcelona

The Ballon d'Or Féminin, or Women's Golden Ball, is a football award presented by *France Football* to the best performing female football player in the previous season.

This award, specifically for female players, was first held in 2018. This year, the Ballon d'Or Féminin is back, with 30 female footballers nominated.

*France Football* will announce the winner of the Ballon d'Or Féminin 2023 on October 30, 2023, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

According to *Eurosport*, Barcelona is the club with the most nominees for this year's Ballon d'Or Féminin.

Seven *Blaugrana* players are competing for the title of best player: Aitana Bonmati, Patri Guijarro, Mapi Leon, Asisat Oshoala, Salma Paralluelo, and Fridolina Rolfo.

Aitana Bonmati is considered the Barcelona player with the highest chance of winning the 2023 Ballon d'Or Féminin trophy due to her outstanding performance this season.

The Spanish player has scored 16 goals and provided 19 assists for Barcelona during the 2022/2023 season. Bonmati also contributed to Spain's victory at the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Bonmati was also named the Best Player at the 2023 Women's World Cup and the UEFA Women's Player of the Year 2023.

On the other hand, Alexia Putellas, a Barcelona striker who previously won the Ballon d'Or Féminin four times, is absent from this year's nominations.

This is because Putellas spent the season recovering from an injury.
