2024 AFF Cup Group B Standings: Indonesia Rises to Top Spot

Indonesia's national football team drew 3-3 with Laos in the second matchday of Group B of the 2024 AFF Cup at Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Thursday (12/12/2024).

Indonesia's goals were scored by Kadek Arel in the 12th minute, and a brace by Muhammad Ferrari in the 18th and 72nd minutes.

In this match, the Merah Putih team had to play with 10 men after Marselino Ferdinan received two yellow cards.

Laos scored through goals by Phousomboun Panyavong (9'), Phathana Phommathep (13'), and Peter Phanthavong (77').

On the same day, the Philippines and Myanmar played to a 1-1 draw at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Myanmar took a 1-0 lead through a free kick by Maung Maung Lwin in the 25th minute. The Philippines equalized through a penalty by Bjorn Kristiansen in the 72nd minute.

This result puts Indonesia at the top of the Group B standings with 4 points, one point ahead of Vietnam.

In the next matchday, the Indonesian national team will travel to Vietnam to play at Phu Tho Stadium on Sunday (15/12/2024).
