Indikator Politik's poll shows Najwa Shihab as the most influential woman in Indonesia in November 2023. The veteran journalist was chosen by 26.13% of respondents.
Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Governor of East Java, ranked second, selected by 11% of survey respondents.
Puan Maharani, the Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), followed in third place with 8.4%. Fourth place was occupied by Susi Pudjiastuti, former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, with 7.2%.
Sri Mulyani Indrawati, the Minister of Finance, was ranked fifth with 6.6%. Nicke Widyawati, the President Director of Pertamina, received the lowest percentage of votes at 0.7%.
1.4% of respondents chose other figures. 25.9% answered "don't know" or "didn't answer" (TT/TJ).
The survey involved 1,220 respondents aged 17 and above or who were married. The survey sample was taken using a multistage random sampling method from all provinces, proportionally distributed.
Data collection was conducted from October 27 to November 1, 2023, using face-to-face interviews. The margin of error is 2.9% with a 95% confidence level.
