Indonesia's national team striker, Dimas Drajad, leads the current top scorer standings in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers after scoring a hat-trick against Brunei Darussalam at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, last Thursday (12/10/2023).

According to Bola.net, Indonesia decisively defeated Brunei Darussalam with a 6-0 victory. Dimas scored three of these goals in the 7th, 72nd, and 90+2nd minutes.

Ramadhan Sananta and Rizky Ridho contributed the other two goals.

This three-goal performance not only secured victory for Indonesia but also made Dimas the current top scorer in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for both the Asian (AFC) and South American (CONMEBOL) zones.

It's important to note that in the AFC zone, the qualifying rounds are only just beginning in the first round, while in the CONMEBOL zone, each team has already played three matches.

Although the South American zone has already had three matchdays, no player has scored more than two goals to date.

Even Brazilian national team stars Neymar and Rodrygo are behind Dimas, each having scored only two goals.
