From January to October 2023, suspicious transactions were most frequently reported by commodity futures trading companies, private banks, state-owned banks, foreign exchange traders, and money transfer companies.

The reports were most frequently suspected to be related to embezzlement (36.6%), fraud (18.1%), gambling (12.9%), tax evasion (5.7%), and corruption (4.9%).

Approximately 97.3% of suspicious transaction reports during the January-October 2023 period originated from DKI Jakarta.
