Lampung's population reaches 9.05 million, with 15% residing in Central Lampung Regency as of June 2024.

Based on population data from the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the population of Lampung Province reached 9.05 million in June 2024.

Central Lampung Regency has the largest population in Lampung Province, at 1.38 million (15.23%) of the total population.

This is followed by East Lampung Regency with 1.11 million (12.31%), South Lampung Regency with 1.1 million (12.17%), and Bandar Lampung City with 1.1 million (12.15%).

Meanwhile, West Coast Regency has the smallest population, at only 173,690 (1.92%).

Administratively, Lampung Province is divided into 2 cities and 13 regencies, with 28 districts comprising 10 urban villages and 301 villages.

Based on marital status, 50.54% of Lampung Province's population is married, while 44.31% are unmarried. The population with divorced and widowed statuses are 1.23% and 3.92%, respectively.
