Additionally, 3 rockfall earthquakes (1–12 mm amplitude, 67–96 second duration) and 2 gas emission earthquakes (2–3 mm amplitude, 59–66 second duration) were detected.
PVMBG prohibits all activities in the southeast sector along the Besuk Kobokan valley within 13 kilometres of the summit. Beyond this zone, public activity is also banned within 500 metres of river banks along Besuk Kobokan, as areas up to 17 km from the summit remain at risk of pyroclastic surges and lahar flows.
