National COVID-19 vaccination as of Tuesday, October 19, 2021, has reached 176.05 million doses. This includes 109.58 million first doses, 64.36 million second doses, and 2.1 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 2 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, exceeding the target by 136.33%. 1.88 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, exceeding the target by 127.78%. The government also recommends a third dose for healthcare workers, with 1.08 million (73.57% of the target) having received it.
For public sector workers, 27.95 million people (161.3% of the target) have received the first dose. Of these, 22.2 million (128.11% of the target) have received the second dose.
Initially, the elderly were prioritized. However, to date, only 7.73 million (35.86% of the target) have received the first dose, and 4.86 million (22.54% of the target) have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 66.93 million people (48.2% of the target) have received the first dose, and 31.53 million (23.02% of the target) have received the second dose.
Finally, adolescents aged 12-17 years are also targeted. A total of 3.84 million (14.39% of the target) have received the first dose, and 2.93 million (10.97% of the target) have received the second dose.
