As of Friday, January 14, 2022, West Kalimantan Province has achieved 71.96% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 2.79 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.87 million people. The second dose vaccination has reached 48.5% of the target as of yesterday.
By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 25,020 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 25,020 individuals (141.95% of the target), and for the second dose, 137.17% or 24,540 individuals were vaccinated.
For public officials, the target was 291,650 individuals. The first dose vaccination reached 290,800 individuals (99.71% of the target), and the second dose reached 92.52%, or 269,840 individuals.
For the elderly, the target was 350,690 individuals. The first dose was administered to 170,470 individuals (48.61% of the target). The second dose reached only 27.86%, or 97,700 individuals.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.64 million individuals. The first dose was administered to 1.83 million individuals (70.66% of the target). The second dose reached only 43.43%, or 1.11 million individuals.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 569,700 individuals. The first dose was administered to 425,590 individuals (74.7% of the target). The second dose reached only 58.25%, or 331,830 individuals.
