Average Schooling Duration in Rote Ndao Regency Still Below National Average

The average schooling duration (RLS) of the population aged 25 and over in Rote Ndao, East Nusa Tenggara reached 7.84 years in 2025.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the RLS of the population in this region is below the East Nusa Tenggara provincial average of 8.22 years in 2025.

The RLS of Rote Ndao's population increased by 0.01 years (0.13%) compared to the previous year, which was 7.83 years. Meanwhile, over the last five years, the RLS has risen by 0.25 years (3.29%).

This RLS indicates that the average Rote Ndao resident only attends school up to the 7th grade level. However, this RLS is still below the national average RLS of 9.07 years in 2025.
