Jakarta, the capital city, contributed the most new cases, with 2,769 new cases reported on Sunday, June 13, 2021. The daily case count increased from 2,455 on Saturday and 2,293 on Friday.
The COVID-19 Task Force has ordered an increase in hospital capacity to anticipate a surge in cases. Hospital capacity in several regions, including Jakarta, Bekasi Regency, and Tangerang City, is beginning to dwindle.
