As of Thursday, February 16, 2023, 69.79 million doses of booster COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 29.74% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. The daily increase in booster vaccinations nationwide yesterday was 17,689 doses.
West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationally, with 15.77 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients with 1.62 million doses, followed by Bandung Regency (1.11 million), Bekasi City (1.01 million), Bekasi Regency (999,020), Cianjur Regency (928,060), and Bandung City (912,730).
East Java is second nationally with 9.49 million booster doses administered. Within East Java, Surabaya City has the highest number of recipients with 1.32 million doses.
Central Java is third with 8.69 million booster doses administered, followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten with 5.42 million, 4.28 million, and 3.05 million doses respectively.
