The top five, starting from the highest, are Sikka, Balikpapan City, Indragiri Hulu, Purwakarta, and Halmahera Tengah, with percentages of 218.32 percent, 182.92 percent, 181.25 percent, 176.54 percent, and 103.14 percent, respectively.
Sikka ranks first. With a population of 325,260, the weekly testing percentage here was recorded at 218.32 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.14 percent. The positive rate in this region has decreased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Balikpapan City. The population in this region is recorded at 649,420. In an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage was 182.92 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0.42 percent, or higher than the previous week's percentage.
Furthermore, Indragiri Hulu recorded 181.25 percent testing, Purwakarta recorded 176.54 percent, and Halmahera Tengah, with a population of 59,226, recorded a weekly testing percentage of 103.14 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 138 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report higher daily weekly testing percentages than before. Meanwhile, 173 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly testing percentages compared to the previous week.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to continue to reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
