The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 136 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 0.71 percent (data as of Friday, July 1, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 7.45 percent are Sukamara, Kepulauan Seribu, East Jakarta, Tangerang, and Central Jakarta, with values of 7.69 percent, 7.45 percent, 7.45 percent, 7.45 percent, and 7.45 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A higher seven-day positivity rate compared to the previous day was recorded in 56 districts/cities, while 68 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Sukamara, Barito Timur, and Lembata, with seven-day positivity rates of 7.69 percent, 6.41 percent, and 5.26 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
