The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 114 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.91 percent as of Friday, September 16, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest figures, exceeding 19.5 percent, are West Lombok (36 percent), Pasuruan City (22.78 percent), Pasuruan Regency (20.83 percent), Banda Aceh City (20 percent), and Ngawi Regency (19.5 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily increase in tracing compared to previous days was recorded in 22 districts/cities, while 26 districts/cities recorded lower tracing numbers.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok (36 percent), Banda Aceh City (20 percent), and Balikpapan City (19 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
