6.52 million people in Banten have received their first dose of the vaccine.

As of Wednesday, December 15, 2021, Banten Province had achieved 70.68% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 6.52 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 9.23 million people. The second dose vaccination reached 49.95% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 45,570 recipients. For the first dose, 45,570 people were vaccinated (154.38% of the target), and for the second dose, 66,840 people were vaccinated (146.7% of the target).

For public sector workers, the target was 456,150 people. The first dose vaccination reached 926,770 people (203.17% of the target), and the second dose reached 830,540 people (182.08% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 643,610 people. The first dose was administered to 403,590 people (62.71% of the target), while the second dose reached only 37.1% or 238,760 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 6.88 million people. The first dose was administered to 4.15 million people (61.25% of the target), while the second dose reached only 40.84% or 2.75 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 1.21 million people. The first dose was administered to 897,150 people (74.33% of the target), while the second dose reached only 55.1% or 665,100 people.
