As of today, Friday, January 28, 2022, West Kalimantan Province has achieved 75.23% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 2.91 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.87 million people. The second dose vaccination has reached 53.77% of the target as of yesterday.
Based on target groups, the breakdown of vaccinations to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province is as follows: The health workforce target was 25,020 recipients. For the first dose, 25,020 people were vaccinated (141.69% of the target), and for the second dose, 137.21% of the target was achieved (24,900 people).
For public officials, the target was 291,650 people. The first dose vaccination reached 287,030 people (98.41% of the target), and the second dose reached 91.43% of the target, with 266,650 doses administered.
For the elderly, the target was 350,690 people. The first dose was administered to 182,440 people (52.02% of the target). The second dose reached only 32.81% of the target, with 115,070 doses administered.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.64 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.9 million people (73.42% of the target). The second dose reached only 49.91% of the target, with 1.28 million doses administered.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 569,700 people. The first dose was administered to 438,380 people (76.95% of the target). The second dose reached 61.55% of the target, with 350,640 doses administered.
