The top five, starting from the highest, are Supiori, Teluk Wondama, Balikpapan City, South Jakarta City, and Central Jakarta City, with ratios of 995.24 percent, 980 percent, 965.84 percent, 952.03 percent, and 946.46 percent, respectively.
Supiori ranks first. With a population of 21,170, the weekly testing percentage in this area was recorded at 995.24 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.96 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Teluk Wondama. The population in this region is recorded at 34,898. In an effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage was 980 percent. The positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, having decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Then, Balikpapan City recorded 965.84 percent in weekly testing, South Jakarta City recorded 952.03 percent, and Central Jakarta City recorded 946.46 percent.
In anticipation of the Omicron impact in various regions, based on the national Covid-19 data recapitulation, there are 131 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher weekly testing percentage than before. Meanwhile, 262 other regencies/cities recorded a lower weekly testing percentage compared to the previous week.
