As of Sunday, October 10, 2021, a total of 159.45 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 100.06 million first doses, 57.41 million second doses, and 1.98 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 1.99 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (135.51% of the target). 1.86 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (126.37% of the target). Furthermore, 1.02 million healthcare workers (69.14% of the target) have received a third dose.
For public sector workers, 27.91 million people (161.09% of the target) have received their first dose, and 21.44 million (123.76% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly population was also a priority group in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 7.06 million elderly individuals (32.76% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4.6 million (21.37% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 58 million people (41.84% of the target) have received their first dose, and 25.7 million (18.84% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 4.01 million (15.01% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.89 million (10.84% of the target) have received their second dose.
