The five regencies/cities with the highest agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.08 per 100,000 population per week, are Kutai Barat (0.66 per 100,000 population per week), Bombana (0.52 per 100,000 population per week), Purwakarta (0.1 per 100,000 population per week), Batu City (0.08 per 100,000 population per week), and Malang City (0.08 per 100,000 population per week).
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. Zero regencies/cities recorded a higher daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 than previously, and one regency/city recorded a lower agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Kutai Barat (0.66 per 100,000 population per week), Bombana (0.52 per 100,000 population per week), and Karangasem (0.02 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
