Great, the Eid al-Fitr holiday has been extended by 3 days.

Through revisions to the Joint Decree (SKB) on National Holidays and Joint Leave in 2018, the government decided to add three days of joint leave to the Idul Fitri celebrations this year, increasing the total to seven days from the previous four.

The SKB, issued on September 22, 2017, initially designated June 13th, 14th, 18th, and 19th as joint leave for Idul Fitri. However, the Tri-Ministerial SKB, numbered 223/2018, 46/2018, and 13/2018, added two days of joint leave before Idul Fitri 1439 Hijriah (2018 AD): June 11th and 12th. Following the Eid holiday, the government also added one more day, June 20th.

With this Tri-Ministerial SKB, national holidays and joint leave in June 2018 increased by three days to a total of ten days, including Pancasila Day and the Eid al-Fitr holidays on June 15th and 16th. The previous SKB only allocated seven days for national holidays and joint leave. As a result, the total number of national holidays and joint leave for the entire year increased to 24 days from the previous 21.
