As of Thursday, July 29, 2021, 46,567,370 people in Indonesia have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. 19,867,271 of them have also received their second dose.
However, with these numbers, the first dose vaccination in the country only covers 22.4% of the target of 208,265,720 people. Meanwhile, the coverage is only 9.5% of the target for the second dose.
The details are as follows: 1,596,183 health workers have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, or 108.7% of the target. 1,454,760 people, or 99.1% of the target, have received the second dose.
25,531,164 public officials, or 147.4% of the target, have also received the first dose. 11,156,416 people, or 64.4% of the target, have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
4,826,749 elderly people have received the first dose of the vaccine, and 3,144,774 have received the second dose. However, this number is only equivalent to 22.4% and 14.6% of the target, respectively.
13,715,442 members of the general public have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, or 9.7% of the target. 4,110,268 of them, or 2.9% of the target, have also received the second dose.
Meanwhile, 897,832 children aged 12-17 years have received the first dose, or 3.4% of the target. Of this number, only 1,053 have received the second dose.
Although the Covid-19 vaccination has been underway, the public is urged to remain disciplined in implementing the 3M health protocols: wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. This is important to prevent the spread of corona.
