The number of people in North Maluku who have received their first dose of the vaccine is 332,040.

As of Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in North Maluku province has reached 23.42 percent. This equates to 332,040 vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.42 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 11.54 percent of the target as of yesterday.

Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 14,260 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 14,260 people (103.89 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 89.72 percent or 12,790 people have been vaccinated.

For public officials, the target is 174,710 people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 147,090 people (84.2 percent of the target), and the second dose has reached 39.84 percent, or 69,600 people.

For the elderly, the target is 127,310 people. For the first dose, 18,840 people have received the vaccine (14.8 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 10.12 percent, or 12,890 people, have been vaccinated.

For the vulnerable general public, the target is 890,000 people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly reached 145,000 people (16.38 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 7.32 percent, or 64,820 people, have been vaccinated.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target is 215,890 people. For the first dose, 6,273 people have received the vaccine (2.91 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 1.61 percent, or 3,482 people, have been vaccinated.
