As of Tuesday, August 2, 2022, a total of 374.96 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 202.55 million first doses, 170.14 million second doses, and 2.27 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("gotong royong").
A total of 2.03 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, exceeding the target by 138.47%. 1.98 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, exceeding the target by 135.03%. The government also recommends a third dose for healthcare workers, although the percentage of those who have received it is not specified.
For public sector workers, 18.33 million people (105.79% of the target) have received the first dose, and 16.77 million (96.8% of the target) have received the second dose.
Elderly individuals were prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 18.14 million (84.15% of the target) have received the first dose, and 14.74 million (68.37% of the target) have received the second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 115.86 million people (82.05% of the target) have received the first dose, and 96.13 million (68.07% of the target) have received the second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 25.5 million (95.49% of the target) have received the first dose, and 22.04 million (82.54% of the target) have received the second dose.
