As of Tuesday, October 26, 2021, a total of 186.46 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 114.84 million first doses, 69.46 million second doses, and 2.16 million doses administered through the community-based vaccination program ("vaksinasi gotong royong").
A total of 2.01 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (136.74% of the target), and 1.89 million have received their second dose (128.49% of the target). Furthermore, 1.11 million healthcare workers (75.71% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 28.02 million individuals have received their first dose (161.74% of the target), and 22.6 million have received their second dose (130.4% of the target).
The elderly population was also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 8.15 million elderly individuals (37.81% of the target) have received their first dose, and 5.1 million (23.66% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government expanded vaccination to vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 71.62 million individuals (51.54% of the target) have received their first dose, and 35.75 million (26.03% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.88 million (14.53% of the target) have received their first dose, and 3.12 million (11.68% of the target) have received their second dose.
