62.02% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccinations have been achieved in South Kalimantan.

As of Thursday, December 23, 2021, South Kalimantan province had achieved a 62.02% vaccination rate for the first dose, representing 1.96 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.16 million. The second dose vaccination rate reached 38.21% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 26,570 recipients. For the first dose, 26,570 people were vaccinated (129.58% of the target), and for the second dose, 125.34% of the target was achieved, or 33,310 people.

For public officials, the target was 319,780 people. The first dose vaccination reached 310,910 people (97.23% of the target), and the second dose reached 89.82%, or 287,230 people.

For the elderly, the target was 258,550 people. The first dose was administered to 110,120 people (42.59% of the target). The second dose reached only 20.32%, or 52,540 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.15 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.16 million people (56.06% of the target). The second dose reached only 29.06%, or 582,730 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17, the target was 402,120 people. The first dose was administered to 297,400 people (73.96% of the target). The second dose reached 51.97%, or 208,970 people.
