The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 128 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.94 percent as of Monday, August 1, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 21.5 percent are Ciamis (50 percent), West Lombok (38 percent), Sibolga City (30 percent), Metro City (26.33 percent), and Cianjur (21.5 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in 16 districts/cities, while 26 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok (38 percent), Sibolga City (30 percent), and Metro City (26.33 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
