This testing achievement data is calculated based on the number of people tested compared to each region's weekly target, subsequently reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest, are Badung, Mimika, Balikpapan City, Supiori, and Tambrauw, with percentages of 890.25 percent, 715.18 percent, 699.69 percent, 576.19 percent, and 557.14 percent, respectively.
Badung ranks first. With a population of 727,950, its weekly testing percentage is recorded at 890.25 percent. The latest positive rate is 5.03 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Mimika. The region's population is 221,810. In an effort to counter the COVID-19 pandemic, the weekly testing percentage reached 715.18 percent. The positive rate in this region is 1.25 percent, also higher than the previous week's ratio.
Furthermore, the weekly testing percentage in Balikpapan City is recorded at 699.69 percent. Supiori, with a population of 21,170, recorded a weekly testing percentage of 576.19 percent, and Tambrauw, with a population of 16,130, recorded a weekly testing percentage of 557.14 percent.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the national COVID-19 data recapitulation, there are 343 regencies/cities in Indonesia actively reporting higher daily weekly testing percentages than before. Meanwhile, 46 other regencies/cities recorded lower weekly testing percentages compared to the previous week.

Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to continue reducing COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water.
