Of those who died with COVID-19 status, the percentage breakdown of comorbidities is as follows: 46.6% had diabetes mellitus, 26.1% had hypertension, 19.3% had a history of heart disease, 10.2% had a history of kidney disease, and 1.7% had cancer. Initial diagnoses reported by those who contracted COVID-19 indicated primary symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, fever, weakness, and a history of fever.
Daily statistics for the number of COVID-19 deaths in East Kalimantan have begun to decline over the past week. Compared to other provinces, East Kalimantan ranks 4th in terms of the highest number of deaths. Yesterday, the province recorded a six-person increase in COVID-19 deaths compared to the previous day.
