Several districts/cities in Bangka Belitung Islands Province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include South Bangka Regency, Bangka Regency, and West Bangka Regency.
As of yesterday's data, in implementing the vaccination program, these three regions have only completed 433,800 second doses out of the expected target of 569,050 vaccine recipients.
South Bangka Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second dose vaccination in this region has reached 74.33 percent. This is the lowest figure compared to the other seven districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first dose achievement has reached 94.42 percent, or 282,580 vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 155,950 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in South Bangka was 550 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 24,503 doses.
Next is Bangka Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this region has the second lowest rate. With a target of 255,160 vaccine recipients, 76 percent or 193,920 recipients have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 89.47 percent, or 458,900 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Bangka was 2,073 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 25,091 doses.
West Bangka Regency is ranked third. With a target of 157,930 vaccine recipients, 78.49 percent or 123,960 recipients have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in West Bangka was 825 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 27,148 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Bangka Belitung Islands Province has reached 87.45 percent, or 1.12 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 74.46 percent, reaching 955,380 vaccine recipients.
