As of Thursday, October 14, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in North Maluku province reached 29.76 percent. This equates to 421,880 vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.42 million people. The second dose vaccination coverage reached 15.6 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the details of the COVID-19 vaccination in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 14,260 recipients. For the first dose, 14,260 people were vaccinated (106.94 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 94.42 percent or 13,460 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 174,710 people. The first dose vaccination reached 152,970 people (87.56 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 58.8 percent, or 102,720 people.
