Several districts/cities in West Kalimantan province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kubu Raya Regency, Kayong Utara Regency, and Kapuas Hulu Regency.
As of yesterday's data, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 292,640 second doses out of the expected target of 703,580 vaccine recipients.
Kubu Raya Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 41.2%. This is the lowest compared to the other 14 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 65.4%, or 463,480 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 432,690 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Kubu Raya last week was 4,999 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 31,736 doses.
Next is Kayong Utara Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is ranked second lowest. With a target of 90,570 vaccine recipients, only 41.9% or 37,967 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 68.9%, or 100,920 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Kayong Utara last week was 1,087 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 3,617 doses.
Kapuas Hulu Regency is ranked third. With a target of 180,330 vaccine recipients, only 42.3% or 76,210 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Kapuas Hulu last week was 1,724 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 12,966 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first-dose vaccination in West Kalimantan has reached 73.15%, or 2.83 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 50.63%, reaching 1.96 million vaccine recipients.
