Vaccination Coverage in North Sulawesi Reached 71.45% of the Target as of Sunday, December 12, 2021

As of Sunday, December 12, 2021, North Sulawesi Province has achieved a 71.45% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 1.49 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.08 million. The second dose vaccination rate reached 43.21% of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 21,780 recipients. For the first dose, 21,780 people were vaccinated (127.8% of the target), and for the second dose, 117.52% or 25,600 people were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 194,980 people. The first dose vaccination reached 228,130 people (117% of the target), and the second dose reached 97.12%, or 189,360 people.

For the elderly, the target was 259,460 people. The first dose was administered to 158,250 people (60.99% of the target). The second dose reached only 35.98%, or 93,350 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.36 million people. The first dose was administered to 866,900 people (63.85% of the target). The second dose reached only 33.67%, or 456,770 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17, the target was 245,340 people. The first dose was administered to 204,740 people (83.45% of the target). The second dose reached 54.27%, or 133,150 people.
