Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National COVID-19 Vaccination Completion Rates (Tuesday, January 24, 2023)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 303 regencies/cities with complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 68.02 percent as of Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 129.42 percent are Yogyakarta City (197.24 percent), Central Jakarta City (186.56 percent), Denpasar City (142.39 percent), South Jakarta City (140.75 percent), and Magelang City (129.42 percent).

The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 158 regencies/cities.

Areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City (142.39 percent), Padang Panjang City (122.72 percent), and Badung Regency (112.65 percent).

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
