Indonesia followed with a weekly death growth of -33.33 percent. Daily death figures in this country decreased by 17.65% compared to the previous day, which recorded 17 deaths.
Next, deaths in India decreased by 57.14%.
Looking at the number of reported deaths, the highest number of deaths in the last seven days in Asia occurred in South Korea with 25 deaths. Death reports in this country increased by 8.7% compared to the previous week. Following that, the highest number of deaths in Indonesia was recorded at 14, down 33.33%, and India with three deaths (down 57.14%).
Total deaths in Asia over the past seven days were recorded at 42. This accounts for 18.03 percent of global deaths caused by the COVID-19 virus, totaling 233. The number of deaths in Asia decreased compared to the previous seven-day accumulation, which totaled 51 deaths.
