South Korea recorded the highest increase in Covid-19 deaths in Asia, with weekly growth reaching 1,133.33 percent. In this country, Worldometer recorded 37 deaths, a 27.45 percent increase compared to the previous day.
Next is Indonesia, which recorded a 34.38 percent decrease in deaths compared to the previous week. However, daily data shows a 16.67% increase in deaths compared to the previous day. Then there's India with five deaths (down 44.44%).
Looking at the number of reported deaths, the highest number of deaths in the last seven days in Asia occurred in South Korea with 37 deaths. Death reports in this country increased by 1,133.33% compared to the previous week. Following that, Indonesia reported the second highest number of deaths with 21 (down 34.38%), and India with five deaths (down 44.44%).
A total of 63 deaths were recorded in Asia over the past seven days. This accounts for 20.72 percent of global deaths caused by the Covid-19 virus, which totaled 304. The number of deaths in Asia increased compared to the previous seven-day accumulation of 44 deaths.
