Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 112,300 participants. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 112,300 people (161.13 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 150.4 percent or 168,900 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 1.98 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.78 million people (140.11 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 114.91 percent, or 2.28 million people.
The elderly target was 761,280 people. For the first dose, it was administered to 708,780 people (93.1 percent of the target). The second dose reached 81.74 percent, or 622,260 people.
The vulnerable general public target was 4.54 million people. For the first dose, vaccination was reportedly administered to 6.23 million people (142.13 percent of the target). The second dose reached 100.08 percent, or 4.33 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 1 million people. For the first dose, 852,270 people were vaccinated (85.22 percent of the target). The second dose reached 72.52 percent, or 725,320 people.
