The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 1.48 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's figure of 1.45 percent (data as of Sunday, July 10, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 20.36 percent, are Fakfak, Manggarai Timur, Balangan, Payakumbuh City, and West Jakarta City, with values of 100 percent, 37.5 percent, 23.08 percent, 23.02 percent, and 20.36 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside of Java. 48 regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 36 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Manggarai Timur, and Balangan, with BORs of 100 percent, 37.5 percent, and 23.08 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
