Only 43.58 percent of the target population in North Sulawesi has received their first dose of the vaccine.

As of Saturday, September 18, 2021, North Sulawesi Province had achieved a 43.58% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 906,680 vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.08 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 21.19% of the target by that date.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 21,780 recipients. For the first dose, 21,780 people were vaccinated (123.96% of the target), and for the second dose, 108.31% or 23,590 people were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 194,980 people. The first dose vaccination reached 260,630 people (133.67% of the target), and the second dose reached 74.55%, or 145,360 people.

For the elderly, the target was 259,460 people. The first dose was administered to 86,450 people (33.32% of the target). The second dose reached 16.63%, or 43,160 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.36 million people. The first dose was administered to 482,410 people (35.52% of the target). The second dose reached 14.55%, or 197,440 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 245,340 people. The first dose was administered to 49,850 people (20.32% of the target). The second dose reached 12.66%, or 31,070 people.
