Papua's Vaccination Coverage as of Saturday, March 12, 2022, Reached 35.83 Percent of the Target.

As of Saturday, March 12, 2022, Papua Province has achieved a 35.83 percent vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 925,740 vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.58 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 27.05 percent of the target as of the previous day.

Based on target groups, the breakdown of vaccinations against the Covid-19 virus in this province is as follows: The health workforce target was 19,530 recipients. For the first dose, 19,530 people were vaccinated (101.22 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 95.63 percent or 18,680 people were vaccinated.

For public sector workers, the target was 289,920 people. The first dose vaccination reached 156,860 people (54.1 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 46.47 percent, or 134,740 people.

For the elderly, the target was 177,360 people. The first dose was administered to 28,400 people (16.01 percent of the target). The second dose reached 12.33 percent, or 21,860 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.69 million people. The first dose was administered to 575,960 people (34.99 percent of the target). The second dose reached 26.12 percent, or 426,570 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 407,850 people. The first dose was administered to 99,130 people (24.31 percent of the target). The second dose reached 17.65 percent, or 71,980 people.
