As of Sunday, September 5, 2021, a total of 106.41 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 66.78 million first doses, 38.22 million second doses, and 1.4 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 1.66 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (112.93% of the target). 1.54 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (104.72% of the target). Furthermore, 713,070 healthcare workers have received a third dose (48.55% of the target).
For public sector workers, 36.35 million people have received their first dose (209.79% of the target), and 20.17 million have received their second dose (116.4% of the target).
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 5.39 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (25.03% of the target), and 3.84 million have received their second dose (17.83% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 19.76 million people have received their first dose (14.59% of the target), and 10.2 million have received their second dose (7.62% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 2.77 million have received their first dose (10.39% of the target), and 1.91 million have received their second dose (7.16% of the target).
