Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 20,440 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 20,440 people (125.86 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 117.26 percent or 23,960 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 247,010 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 193,520 people (78.35 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 63.12 percent, or 155,920 people.
The elderly target was 157,300 people. For the first dose, 46,330 people were vaccinated (29.46 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 12.65 percent, or 19,890 people.
The target for the vulnerable general public was 1.28 million people. For the first dose, 608,450 people were vaccinated (48.96 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 22.09 percent, or 266,150 people.
