As of Monday, January 3, 2022, a total of 283.16 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 166.34 million first doses, 114.3 million second doses, and 2.52 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community participation) program.
A total of 1.96 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, representing 139.38% of the target. 1.29 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (133.62% of the target). Furthermore, 1.29 million healthcare workers have received a third dose (87.75% of the target).
For public sector workers, 23.51 million people have received their first dose (135.67% of the target), and 21.16 million have received their second dose (122.12% of the target).
The elderly were also prioritized in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 14.4 million elderly individuals have received their first dose (66.82% of the target), and 9.09 million have received their second dose (42.2% of the target).
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 98.18 million people have received their first dose (70.46% of the target), and 63.68 million have received their second dose (45.96% of the target).
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 22.81 million have received their first dose (85.4% of the target), and 17.17 million have received their second dose (64.29% of the target).
