The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 139 districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 2.18 percent (data as of Saturday, April 1, 2023).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 30.43 percent are Banjarnegara (53.33 percent), Temanggung (38.46 percent), Pekalongan City (35.71 percent), Lamandau (33.33 percent), and Purworejo (30.43 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. An increase in the daily seven-day positivity rate compared to the previous day was recorded in 54 districts/cities, while 36 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Lamandau (33.33 percent), Natuna (28.57 percent), and Kepulauan Selayar (25 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
