The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 113 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.73 percent as of Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 21.67 percent are Lombok Barat, Mojokerto City, Semarang City, Asahan, and Balikpapan City, with respective values of 28.67 percent, 25.33 percent, 25.17 percent, 23.33 percent, and 21.67 percent.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. A higher daily tracing rate than before was recorded in 21 districts/cities, while 20 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat, Asahan, and Balikpapan City, with tracing rates of 28.67 percent, 23.33 percent, and 21.67 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
