As of Monday, November 29, 2021, a total of 236.6 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 139.12 million first doses, 95.07 million second doses, and 2.41 million doses administered through the "gotong royong" (community-based) vaccination program.
A total of 2.02 million healthcare workers have received their first dose, exceeding the target by 137.39%. 1.92 million healthcare workers have received their second dose, exceeding the target by 130.75%. Furthermore, 1.22 million healthcare workers (83.3% of the target) have received a third dose, as recommended by the government.
For public sector workers, 24.19 million individuals (139.6% of the target) have received their first dose, and 20.99 million (121.14% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly population was also a priority group in the initial vaccination phases. To date, 11.41 million elderly individuals (52.96% of the target) have received their first dose, and 7.3 million (33.85% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 80.11 million individuals (57.62% of the target) have received their first dose, and 49.4 million (35.8% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 20.13 million (75.36% of the target) have received their first dose, and 14.31 million (53.6% of the target) have received their second dose.
